Salman, Katrina And Sonakshi.....

Love stories are always complicated. Even the most profound writers have not touched the deep dark secrets of yjr man-woman relationship. Man is an animal. He is human too. Therein lies the complexity. The animal side of man (or woman) is the low beastly side of man. Selfishness. Survival. Sex. Carnal pleasure.These make up the animal side of man. On the other hand is the divine side. Pure selfless love. Where physical pleasure is insignificant. It is the meeting of minds. Where one is ready to do anything for the other.

These are the two opposite definitions of love. The Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif relationship is a blend of the two.

Just two-three years ago everything seemed hunky-dory between the two. One could almost hear the wedding bells. But then came the so-called break-up.

It was more of Katrina Kaif trying to find herself. She was getting famous and to find herself she had to move out of Salman's shadow. Otherwise she would live in eternal regret.

Initially Salman was miffed. His male ego was hurt. Hence his courting of starlets like Zarine Khan.

But with Dabangg Salman has found a new muse in his life. Sonakshi Sinha. Salman did what he did with Katrina years ago. He took Sonakshi under his wing. He encouraged her to reduce her flab. He gave hints that proved invaluable to the newcomer.

Dabangg was a big hit. Sonakshi's career has taken off. But Sonakshi does not want to hurt Salman's feelings yet. She wants to act in more films with him to consolidate her career. (At an award function she called Arbaaz Khan as "Arbaazbhai". She calls Salman as "Mr. Salman Khan").

If Salman harbors any illusions of walking down the aisle with Sonakshi he is mistaken. Sonakshi is too smart to chuck up her booming career for holy matrimony (assuming she loves Salman Khan).

Recent reports say there is a rapprochement between Salman and Katrina. This is because Katrina is feeling insecure about Sallu's obsession with Sonakshi.

May be deep inside Katrina really loves Salman Khan.

Ambitious Calculating Aamir Khan Sets His Sights Higher

Aamir Khan is one of an ambitious guy. He has right to be. He is intelligent, talented and so darned smart. He started his one-film-a-year principle years ago. People laughed at him them. Today he is having the last laugh. He is anything but an idiot. His marketing of 3 Idiots is stuff management books are written about. 3 Idiots was a big hit.

But Aamir is not satisfied. He wants to grow bigger. Ram Gopal Verma is small fry for him, though the director gave him a hit like Rangeela. That is why he made RGV wait till he lost his patience and gave up any thoughts of making another film with the Khan.

Now the next step for Aamir would be bigger. A film with the legend, Amitabh Bachchan. Recently when Big B came to offer his condolences at the sad demise of Aamir's father, the Khan popped the question to him. "We must work together," he said. Bachchan was quick on the draw. He suggested Aamir direct a film. Big B is on the look for appearing in films with new talented directors with a fresh outlook that would appeal to today's audiences. And he knows Aamir Khan had all but directed Lagaan (though on the credits the name of Ashutosh Gowariker appeared).

It is a moot question whether Aamir had direction in mind or whether he wanted to co-star with Bachchan in a film. Time will tell. Aamir is going to do direction sooner or later but maybe he will try and use his acting potential some more till age catches up.

Aamir Khan is hot property today after the success of 3 Idiots. Big guns like Karan Johar wants to work with him. Even small fries of Bollywood like (half sister?) Jiah Khan are trying to cash in on his popualrity. Recently Jiah said that she too like Aamir had practised and done dangerous stunts during the making of Ghajini, but no one asked her or cares! Poor thing!

Like father, like daughter. When one has Kamal Haasan as father and Sarika as mother, chances are the offspring will be a lethal combo of brains, talent and beauty. Shruti Haasan is all that. Shahrukh Headed Towards Politics?

Nowadays India loves two guys. Rahul Gandhi and Shahrukh Khan. Both stiffened their backbone against Shiv Sena's threats and got away with it.

The threats against Shahrukh were considerable. When he raised the Pakistani players in the IPL issue, the whole tamasha began. Chances were his latest release, My Name Is Khan would have to miss being screened in Maharashtra. That film market is big and nothing to sneeze at.

But Shahrukh stuck to his guns. And Bal Thackeray gave in meekly, with just calling SRK a traitor and a Congress stooge.

The part of being a Congress stooge might be true. It is well known that Shahrukh is close to the leaders of the Congress party. Do not be surprised if the man joins the Congress Party shortly. It is possible that King Khan might have talked over the Shiv Sena fracas with Rahul Gandhi and took the 'bold' stand only after Rahul Gandhi backed him to the hilt. No one individual dare take on a violent thuggish outfit like the Shiv Sena all by himself. No wonder Bal Thackeray said in the Saamna,

Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray called Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan 'a traitor', but said Sena will not will not stall his latest film 'My Name Is Khan'.

In a statement in the party mouthpiece "Saamna", Thackeray said: "Traitors, with the blessings of the Congress party, go ahead. Shiv Sena will not block you. Why our Shiv Sainiks should be beaten up and arrested?".

Shahrukh is a darned smart guy. By his 'gutsy' act he will achieve two objectives. His 'My Name Is Khan' is guaranteed a bumper opening. Second, whenever he joins the Congress Party and stands for elections, he will win with a thumping margin.

Bollywood folks have already started worshipping the rising star. Bipasha Basu has said SRK has one of the best butts in the industry. Always useful to pamper the male ego of a guy whose graph is rising, isn't it?

Kiss Scene Hassles 'Kites'

Director Anurag Basu is in a mess. In his film ‘Kites’, he has a kissing scene in which actor Hrithik Roshan is supposed to kiss model Barbara Mori. But, much to Basu’s anguish, comes in the orthodox Indian father, i.e., papa Rakesh Roshan who has shown serious opposition to his son kissing another woman.

However, Anurag is keen on having this shot done as the film depicts real incidents and this scene is crucial for the film. Confusion, argument and differences between Rakesh and Anurag are still continuing and till now they are not able to come to any conclusion.

We don’t love each other the same way when we were courting. Our love has deepened. We have become more honest, and air our opinions quite frankly. While we were courting our conversations were sugar-coated and very sweet. We didn’t want to hurt each other by being too blunt or honest. That’s naturally changed. This growth is important, but the love that binds us surpasses all other emotions. Even today Hrithik is disturbed if I cry. It breaks him down.

We share a beautiful, relationship, full of love, even after many years! So many things have happened; good, bad, but nothing has affected our relationship.

Hrithik is an absolute family man. He loves to spend time with the family. Nothing can distract him when he is with the kids. He is a great husband, but a greater father.

Coming from a film background again, I understand if a man works with a good-looking girl, he is bound to get linked to her. That’s no issue. The film is a love story, and a fabricated link up may even be good for the film.

Rocket Singh girl Shazahn Padamsee is debuting in Tollywood. The lucky daughter of ad-guru Alyque Padamsee and pop star Sharon Prabhakar, has a wonderful offer in her kitty. The offer is from Anjana Productions and she is set to be cased with Ram Charan Tej. The forthcoming film of Charan and producer Naga Babu, directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, has been on floors for over a month now. Though the first heroine Genelia D'Souza has been finalised, the makers have been on a constant search for the second girl.

They seem to have finally zeroed down on Shazah, after watching her performance in her Bollywood debut, Rocket Singh. The passionate girl is dumb lucky because even in Telugu, she gettng to debut with a big release, just as in Hindi, where she was finalised by the Yash Raj.
